Anybody can put out a pretty picture on the Internet but a picture may not show you the actual quality of the boat. The Better Business Bureau in the area of the manufacturer should be able to tell you if there are any complaints lodged against the manufacturer. You might also be able to contact other customers who have ordered boats from a particular manufacturer.

If you live in a rural area you may have to order a boat from a manufacturer in another part of the country. This should be no problem if you check out all of the details. Ask the manufacturer if they ship to your area and what additional charges there will be for shipping. If they do not ship to your area they may be able to recommend another shipper who does.
